About the course

General information

  • Why take this course

Progressively eliminating hazardous chemicals used in the production process and ensuring a safe working environment for employees is a key priority in the materials supply chain. However, many factories are struggling to implement a robust chemical management system (CMS). This is often due to the absence of a clear strategic vision from top management, or clear roles and responsibilities throughout the organization. This is why we have created a dedicated course about top management and managers’ roles and responsibilities in leading responsible chemical management practices.

  • Course description

This module "Leadership and management roles" is one of many modules that make up the Chemical Management System e-learning course. This module is designed to provide a good understanding of the role of top management in leading the implementation of the Chemical Management System. It also highlights the importance of the role of the manager appointed by the top management to supervise and implement the Chemical Management System. In this module, we mostly focus on the organisation and framework needed to support the implementation of the CMS.
